#Берлин
Иногда зажираешься, и забываешь, что если станция новая и чистая, а поезд приходит 90% вовремя, то это уже достижение человечества. Берлин в плане метро я бы расположил где-то между Римом и Парижем. В городе до сих пор очень много станций времен начала 20-ого века, и поезда видимо примерно того же периода

Но! Я катался на нескольких ветках и нигде ничего прям ужасного не увидел. Станции не прям чистые, но никаких наркоманов, бомжей, заблеванных перонов и прочего я не увидел. Хотя возможно все они вымерли от ужасных морозов -5 градусов

Но что я терпеть не могу в большинстве больших городов - это навигация. Берлин тут заслуженно получает призовое место (с конца).
Понять, куда поедет приехавший поезд без постоянно сравнения навигатора и табло невозможно. Указателей переходов зачастую не хватает, а учитывая, что метро открытое, и пересадки между линиями могут быть с выходом в город, поездка домой превращается в сущий квест.
Ну а вокзалы тут... апогей всего вышесказанного, не дай бог вам туда попасть

Sometimes you get too spoiled and forget that if a station is new and clean, and the train arrives 90% on time, that's already a human achievement. In terms of the metro, I'd rank Berlin somewhere between Rome and Paris. The city still has many stations from the early 20th century, and the trains are probably from around the same period.

But! I rode on several lines and didn't see anything really terrible anywhere. The stations aren't exactly clean, but I didn't see any drug addicts, homeless people, vomit-stained platforms, or anything else. Although maybe they all froze to death in the -5 degree freezing temperatures.

But what I can't stand in most big cities is the navigation. Berlin rightfully gets an award (from the bottom).
It's impossible to figure out where the arriving train is going without constantly comparing the navigator and the board. There's often a lack of transfer signs, and considering that the metro is open and transfers between lines can involve exiting into the city, the journey home turns into a real quest.
And the stations here... the apogee of all the above, God forbid you end up there.
