Самое интересное, что можно сделать в Фукуоке - это сесть на поезд и поехать в пригород к деревне храмов.
Этим я собственно и занялся на второй день пребывания здесь. За полчаса панельки полностью пропадают из вида и их сменяют пейзажи гор и редкой частной застройки. Сама деревня - от силы домов двадцать, и кажется, будто кроме пары туристов тут никто и не живёт. Большого лежащего Будду, самой главной достопримечательности здешнего места, оказалось найти несложно - храм с ним позвышается на соседней горе и видел издалека)

The most interesting thing to do in Fukuoka is to take a train and go to the suburbs of the temple village.
This is exactly what I did on the second day of my stay here. In half an hour, the cityscape completely disappears from view, replaced by mountain landscapes and sparse private buildings. The village itself has at most twenty houses, and it seems that apart from a couple of tourists, no one else lives here. Finding the large reclining Buddha, the main attraction of the place, was not difficult - the temple with it stands on a nearby mountain and I could see it from afar.
