On public transport, you pay with a transit card, T-money. It's sold and recharged in convenience stores like 7-Eleven and Cu. The card itself costs ~3$. The only problem is that if you're a tourist, you can only top it up with cash, so you need to get some at the airport right away. Well, I had to withdraw money from the ATM with a 3.6% commission, what else could I do?
The bus to the city (which is about 50 kilometers away), since the airport is actually in another city, costs around 15$. The bus is decent, as it's a long-distance one. If you take a taxi, it's better to change money at the airport right away.
