Деревня Gamcheon

На юго-востоке Пусана находится деревня Gamcheon, обрётшая популярность благодаря своим разноцветным домикам. Исторической легенды здесь никакой нет - с 50-х годов 20 века это было обычное бедное поселение, и только в 2009 году местные власти решили его оживить, пригласив художников разукрасить дома в радужные цвета.

Идея сработала, и сейчас Gamcheon стоит во всех путеводителях по Пусану, а всяких сувенирных лавок, стрит фуда и арт объектов здесь хоть отбавляй. Местные пенсионеры разве что не всегда довольны, что всякие туристы теперь шастают между домами)

Gamcheon Village

In the southeast of Busan, there's Gamcheon Village, which has gained popularity due to its colorful houses. There's no historical legend here - since the 1950s, it was an ordinary poor settlement, and it wasn't until 2009 that local authorities decided to revitalize it by inviting artists to paint the houses in rainbow colors.

The idea worked, and now Gamcheon is featured in all travel guides to Busan, and there are plenty of souvenir shops, street food, and art objects here. The local retirees, however, aren't always happy that all these tourists are now wandering around the houses.
