A pleasant discovery in Gamcheon Village - a traditional tea house run by a Korean grandmother. A small two-story house with a veranda on the top floor, where you can enjoy the view of the village over a cup of tea. The assortment is small, but as I was assured, everything is locally sourced from Korea.

These gatherings, and the entire village in general, reminded me of Jioufen in Taiwan - there too, a relatively unknown settlement gained popularity among tourists in the 2000s. But while in Taiwan, people mainly go there to recreate the atmosphere of the city from "Spirited Away", here most visitors are Koreans themselves.
