На входе в него красуется табличка "the most beautiful temple in Korea" - скромности ребятам конечно не занимать)

The tourist tram will take you to the north of the city, just a kilometer away from one of the most famous Korean Buddhist temples, Haedong Yonggungsa. At the entrance, there's a sign that reads "the most beautiful temple in Korea" - the guys sure aren't modest!

But the temple is indeed beautiful, and it's partly unique in terms of its location and design. Situated on a cliff, the courtyard offers a view of the rocky coast of Busan, and from the neighboring hill, you can appreciate the entire temple complex.

The decoration, I would say, is quite standard here. Unlike the Chinese, Koreans don't strive to gild the entire interior. I only remember the two golden pigs in the courtyard - as you can guess, their main task is to bring wealth and luck to the temple's visitors.
