В продолжение темы застройки Сеула времен 70-80х годов.

На фото один из немногих сохранившихся районов на западе города. Ключевые отличия от более новых - полуподвальные этажи, квартальная застройку, европейские фасады и подъезды. Местами напоминают английские дома для рабочего класса.

Сейчас такие нещадно сносят в угоду панельным небоскребам, но учитывая, как кирпичные дома сохранились за 50 лет, лучше бы занимались их реставрацией. Могли бы построить себе азиатский Копенгаген)

Continuing the theme of Seoul's urban development in the 70s and 80s.

In the photo, one of the few preserved districts in the west of the city. The key differences from newer ones are the semi-basement floors, block-style development, European facades, and entrances. In some places, they resemble English houses for the working class.

Nowadays, such buildings are being ruthlessly demolished in favor of panel skyscrapers, but considering how well brick buildings have preserved over the past 50 years, it would be better to focus on their restoration. We could have built ourselves an Asian Copenhagen!)
