Стоит выехать за пределы города, и начинается инфраструктурный ад. На фото - Центр Миссиссауга, сабурбан-города к западу от Торонто.

Центр, как водится, представляет собой тысячи квадратных метров парковок, несколько гига-тц типа Walmart, и кучу лакшери кондо, разделенных друг от друга многополосными трассами. Из общественного транспорта тут только пара автобусов, которые довезут вас до "цивилизации", то есть конечной станции Торонтовского метро.
Жить здесь это особый вид мазохизма, учитывая, что для работы многим все равно приходится добираться до даунтауна Торонто.

As soon as you leave the city, the infrastructure hell begins. In the photo - the center of Mississauga, a suburban city to the west of Toronto.

The center, as usual, consists of thousands of square meters of parking lots, several Walmart-type megastores, and a bunch of luxury condos, separated from each other by multi-lane highways. There's only a couple of buses for public transport here, which will take you to "civilization", that is, the final station of the Toronto subway.
Living here is a special kind of masochism, given that many still have to commute to downtown Toronto for work.
