Наконец-то нашел время взять покататься велик, и заодно заценить Tommy Tompson Park.

Ну что сказать, в целом ездить можно, велодорожки на крупных улицах есть, в парке вообще красота. По жилым кварталам тоже +- ок, траффика мало, хотя по проезжей части ехать всё равно как-то некомфортно.

Самый большой минус - это аренда. Дорого блин, за 2 часа / 22км накатал на 16C$ (и это не ебайк!). Даже если брать годовой тариф, с амортизацией такая поездка обойдется всё равно минимум 7C$ обычном / 12 C$ на e-bike. Крч то ли оставить развлечением выходного дня, то ли покупать сразу личный. Пока в даунтауне вполне комфортно на своих двоих, поэтому оставлю эту идею на подумать

Finally found the time to take a bike ride and check out Tommy Thompson Park at the same time.

Well, what can I say? Overall, it's possible to ride, there are bike lanes on major streets, and the park is really beautiful. In residential areas, it's also more or less okay, with little traffic, although it's still a bit uncomfortable to ride on the roadway.

The biggest downside is the rental. It's damn expensive! I cycled for 2 hours/22km and it cost me 16C$ (and this wasn't even an e-bike!). Even if you take an annual plan, the cost of such a ride would still be at least 7C$ for a regular bike or 12C$ for an e-bike. So either I'll just treat it as a weekend activity, or I'll buy my own one day. For now, I'm quite comfortable getting around downtown on my own two wheels, so I'll put this idea on hold for now and think about it later.
