Здание, которое бесит меня здесь больше всего

В этом году, в самом центре города, на одной площади со всем известными HSBC и Bank of China появилась новая офисная стекляшка - 36 этажная башня Henderson. Здание с весьма "сомнительным" дизайном в виде банок из под пива обошлось в 2млрд$, что по сегодняшним меркам не так много, но... Земля под ним ушла за 3млрд$, став самым дорогим куском земли в мире, дороже любого существующего в Нью-Йорке, Лондоне или Сингапуре.

За такие то деньги ИМХО можно было бы построить что-то и поприличнее, и не портить вид на существующие иконы Гонконга.

The building that annoys me the most here

This year, in the very center of the city, on a square with the well-known HSBC and Bank of China, a new 36-story office tower called Henderson Tower has appeared. The building with its rather "questionable" design in the form of beer cans cost $2 billion, which is not a huge sum by today's standards, but... The land under it was sold for $3 billion, becoming the most expensive piece of land in the world, more expensive than any existing one in New York, London, or Singapore.

For that kind of money, in my opinion, they could have built something more decent and not spoil the view of Hong Kong's existing icons.
