For our first day trip on #Jeju, we chose the extinct Sonsan volcano on the eastern coast.

Первым day trip'ом на #Чеджу мы выбрали потухший вулкан Сонсан на восточном побережье. За миллионы лет он превратился в горное плато, поросшее растительностью, но пористые следы на скалах всё еще напоминают об истории этого места.

Погода на Чеджу зимой прохладная, 10 градусов, поэтому природа кому-то может напомнить летнюю Норвегию или Исландию. В остальном же это почти та же Корея, с их странными коробистыми домиками и деревянными горными тропами.

For our first day trip on #Jeju, we chose the extinct Sonsan volcano on the eastern coast. Over millions of years, it has turned into a mountain plateau covered in vegetation, but the porous traces on the rocks still remind us of the history of this place.

The weather in Jeju in winter is cool, around 10 degrees, so the nature might remind some people of summer Norway or Iceland. Otherwise, it's almost the same as Korea, with their strange boxy houses and wooden mountain trails.
