Жемчужина #Чеджу - потухший вулкан Халласан. Не смотря на то, что вся Корея покрыта горами, самой высокой точкой страны является именно этот вулкан за пределами материка.

Подняться на вершину можно в любое время года, но лучше всего это делать весной или осенью. Летом здесь очень жарко, а зимой вершину укрывает снег, по которому очень сложно взбираться без обмундирования. Пройти полный маршрут вполне реально за день, но приезжать нужно до 12:00, после этого дорогу наверх закрывают на вход.

Мы ограничились наблюдением за Халласаном с соседней горы. Но даже туда дорога была ппц скользкой, особенно в наших кроссовках 😂

The gem of #Jeju - the extinct Hallasan volcano. Despite the fact that all of Korea is covered in mountains, this volcano outside the mainland is the country's highest point.

You can climb to the summit at any time of the year, but it's best to do it in spring or autumn. In summer, it's very hot here, and in winter, the summit is covered in snow, which makes it very difficult to climb without proper equipment. It's quite possible to complete the full route in a day, but you need to arrive before 12:00, after which the road to the top is closed to entry.

We limited ourselves to observing Hallasan from a nearby mountain. But even the road there was incredibly slippery, especially in our sneakers 😂
