Рядом с моим домом есть модерновый бизнес-район. Наверное, все, кто гуглил фотки Пекина, хоть раз его видели.

Так о при всем том, что выглядит он достаточно эффектно, гулять по нему конечно так себе. Очень много бетона, дорог, отели, тц, офисы... А народу средь бело дня никого.

Очевидно, что жарко, но мне кажется дизайн улиц играет ключевую роль. Ходить вдоль дорог, смотря на стеклянные офисы, будет интересно максимум один раз.

#Beijing
There's a modern business district near my home. Probably everyone who's googled photos of Beijing has seen it at least once.

That said, even though it looks quite impressive, walking around it is kind of underwhelming. There's a lot of concrete, roads, hotels, shopping malls, offices... And there's hardly anyone on the streets in broad daylight.

Obviously, it's hot, but I think the street design plays a key role. Walking along the roads, looking at the glassy offices, would only be interesting once at most.
