В центре находится один из самых красивых исторических кварталов города - Gastown. 20 лет это было единственное поселение на острове, пока в 1886 году не был формально основан Ванкувер.

Район пережил великую депрессию и индустриализацию, после был отреставрирован, и сейчас является самым тусовочным и туристичным местом города, с кучей ресторанов и баров. И популярность его вполне заслуженна!

In the center is one of the most beautiful historic districts of the city - Gastown. For 20 years, it was the only settlement on the island, until Vancouver was formally founded in 1886.

The district survived the Great Depression and industrialization, was then restored, and is now the most vibrant and touristy place in the city, with numerous restaurants and bars. And its popularity is well deserved!
