A long post with my final impressions of my trip to #Vancouver

It's not the first time I've come to a city for 4 days and then posted content on my channel for a whole month. But at least I have something to write about while I'm in Toronto.

However, at some point, it's time to wrap up the series of posts and draw conclusions. For me personally, this is especially relevant when it comes to Vancouver, because there's a real possibility of moving there in the future. So the review will be written from the perspective of comparing it with Canada, and Toronto in particular.

Let's start with what I liked about Vancouver. And... actually, almost everything, because I was there at the best time of the year and in the best company of people. With such introductions, any place will be more beautiful)

Seriously though, Vancouver and the entire province of BC are a place with amazing nature, mountains, the ocean, and a temperate climate. It really feels like "real Canada", unlike the bleak plain with a large lake where I live in Toronto. If you like hiking, going out to the ocean, admiring beautiful coniferous forests all year round, and not wanting to spend half your life driving to Walmart - then you'll definitely love Vancouver.

The infrastructure in Vancouver also feels much better than in Toronto. New trains running every 15 minutes from the city center to the airport. Clean stations. Smooth roads and not littered sidewalks. More greenery. Of course, the climate plays a role, but I think Toronto just has a leaky budget that can't be used properly (which is often better in the surrounding towns than in the center). And in Vancouver, walking around downtown, you can really feel that there's money here.

As for the climate, I want to say separately that I was there at probably the best time of the year, and my opinion is biased. +25-30 degrees during the day, the sun shines, birds sing. But all the locals tell me that this only lasts a couple of months a year, and then comes 9 months of depression from constant rain (with almost no snow). Whether this is true - who knows, the weather is probably criticized in every city in the world)

The last pleasant bonus of Vancouver, purely for me, is its convenient location to Asia, allowing direct flights to all major cities, while spending less money than from Toronto. Of course, it's more convenient to fly to Europe from Toronto, but I go there much less often.

And... At this point, it becomes clear that the post is already too long, so wait for part two with the cons and conclusions😁
