#Osaka
On my way to southern Japan, I decided to stop in Osaka for a couple of days.
This is my second time here, and despite honestly trying to make the most of my time everywhere, this is still my least favorite city in Japan (there was already a series of posts about Osaka here).
I don't know why, but Osaka just seems like a huge Japanese "default city" to me. It's not as trendy and wealthy as Tokyo, not as religious as Kyoto, not as northern as Sapporo, not as laid-back as Fukuoka... It's just there. Something happens here, but it's impossible to understand what its unique features are.
Sure, there's the Dotonbori district, where everyone takes photos by the river and hangs out in clubs, there's a downtown area with shiny office buildings, a couple of cool temples... But is that all? Anyway, this chapter of the trip will pass quickly. Let's just share what we managed to find this time.
