Один аспект Берлина игнорировать просто нельзя - это графити. Конечно, они не на каждом доме, но их точно больше, чем в любом другом городе Европы.

Многие это хейтят, резонно считая, что они портят вид зданий. Так-то оно так, но надо понимать, что Берлин - это город субкультур, и через графити люди находят свое выражение. И власти этому не препятствуют, хотя могли бы.

Так что в какой-то мере, не будет графити - не будет и Берлина во всем его многообразии. А вот туристы все равно приедут, даже если не получится наделать красивых фоточек.

One aspect of Berlin that simply cannot be ignored is graffiti. Of course, it's not on every building, but there's definitely more of it here than in any other European city.

Many people criticize it, reasonably believing that it spoils the appearance of buildings. Well, that's true to some extent, but we need to understand that Berlin is a city of subcultures, and through graffiti, people find their own form of expression. And the authorities don't hinder this, even though they could.

So to some extent, without graffiti, there would be no Berlin in all its diversity. But tourists will still come, even if they don't manage to take beautiful photos.
