Одним из политически-заряженных мест в #Берлин'е до сих пор остаётся Checkpoint Charlie. Казалось бы, 40 лет прошло с падения берлинской стены, а на бывший погранпункт все ещё стекается народ.

Рядом есть полноценный музей, но в целом даже пройдясь по улице и поразглядывая плакаты, можно узнать чуть-чуть об истории, если вы подзабыли её в школе :)

Кстати загадка подписчикам - почему именно Charlie? И где были другие погранпункты? Ответ достаточно простой, но лично мне пришлось в свое время гуглить😅

One of the politically charged places in #Berlin is still Checkpoint Charlie. It might seem like 40 years have passed since the fall of the Berlin Wall, but people still flock to the former border crossing point.

There's a full-fledged museum nearby, but even just walking down the street and looking at the posters, you can learn a bit about the history, if you've forgotten it in school :)

By the way, a riddle for subscribers - why exactly Charlie? And where were the other border crossing points? The answer is quite simple, but I personally had to Google it at the time 😅
