Bravo

As you can probably guess, Charlie is just the letter C, and there were also two border checkpoints, Alpha and Bravo.
To roughly understand where they were located, you can think about how people actually traveled from West Germany to West Berlin when the entire city was in East Germany.
The answer is - along a dedicated highway that ran through the territory of East Germany. Obviously, it was necessary to cross the border twice: at the Alpha point, entering East Germany, and at the Bravo point, exiting East Germany and returning to the West German enclave. It was forbidden to deviate from the highway at any point along the way, and the border was guarded by Soviet military personnel.
There's a good short video about how this trip might have gone: https://youtu.be/yACZtGCFvzU?si=r-ueOda9lCz_mYO7
