В заключение про #Берлин скажу, что после второй поездки отношение к городу у меня поменялось сильно в лучшую сторону. Тот редкий случай, когда даёшь месту второй шанс, и оно его оправдывает.

Как "понять" Берлин?
Ну, во первых, приезжайте в сезон, или хотя бы не в середине зимы, как я. Во вторых, ходите тусить, тут без этого никуда. В третьих, селитесь в западном Берлине, или хотя бы ближе к центру. Ну и в четверых - не пытайтесь искать здесь идеал.
Если сложите все советы воедино, то я верю, что Берлин зайдёт и вам.

In conclusion about #Berlin, I'll say that after my second trip, my attitude towards the city has changed dramatically for the better. It's a rare case when you give a place a second chance, and it lives up to it.

How to "understand" Berlin?
Well, firstly, come during the season, or at least not in the middle of winter like I did. Secondly, go out and have fun - you can't do anything else here without that. Thirdly, stay in West Berlin, or at least closer to the center. And fourthly - don't try to find an ideal here.
If you put all the advice together, I believe that Berlin will also appeal to you.
