Я показал вам промышленный портовый район, но а как же выглядят жилые улицы города близ реки?
Район Альтштат построен практически целиком на воде, и не зря его называют за это "немецким Амстердамом". Чтобы улицы не затапливало весной, весь город будто поднят на целый этаж над водой, и соединен десятками мостов!
Аржитектура все та же - красный кирпич, но уже с элементами декора из камня. Видно, что новые дома соблюдают общий дизайн код, и даже толком и не скажешь, когда что было построено)

I've shown you the industrial port area, but what do the residential streets of the city near the river look like?
The Altstadt district is almost entirely built on water, and it's not without reason that it's called the "German Amsterdam". To prevent the streets from flooding in spring, the entire city seems to be lifted a whole floor above the water, and is connected by dozens of bridges!
The architecture is still the same - red brick, but now with elements of stone decoration. It's clear that the new buildings adhere to the overall design code, and you can't even really tell when something was built!)
