Финансовый квартал #Сингапур'а

Имхо достаточно скучный район, где буквально одни офисы (ну, как в "сити"). Вечером на улицах почти никого нет. Дороги все такие же широкие - ждёшь по две минуты на светофорах или даже спускаешься под землю, чтобы перейти трассу.

Кое-где правда начали появляться кондо, видимо как раз для офисных работяг за огромный прайс. Очень много "офис-слоп" рестиков, имеющих неопределенную кухню, которую нынче называют "modern", "western", "healthy", и проч.

С некоторых ракурсов район буквально выглядит как "default North American downtown", у меня даже появились ассоциации с Торонто. Хорошего правда в этом мало, от азиатов ожидал более человечную среду😕

The financial district of #Singapore

In my opinion, it's a rather boring area, where there are literally only offices (well, just like in the "city"). In the evening, there's hardly anyone on the streets. The roads are still so wide - you wait for two minutes at traffic lights or even go underground to cross the highway.

Somewhere, condos have started to appear, probably just for office workers at a huge price. There are a lot of "office-slop" restaurants with undefined cuisine, which is now called "modern", "western", "healthy", and so on.

From some perspectives, the district literally looks like a "default North American downtown", and I even had associations with Toronto. However, there's not much good about it. I expected a more human environment from Asians 😕
