Дистопичная картина в лучших традициях киберпанка.

На фото - Sathorn Unique Tower, 49-этажный небоскрёб, начавший строиться ещё в 1990-ом году. Азиатский финансовый кризис 97-го обанкротил банки, финансирующие проект, и почти уже готовая бетонная махина так и осталась стоять посреди города.

С годами небоскреб начал ветшать, и пригоден уже только для сноса, но формальный владелец отказывается продавать его за бесценок, а снос осложнен плотной городской застройкой вокруг здания.

Поэтому вот уже 30 лет недострой так и стоит посреди Бангкока. Чтобы получать хоть какую-то прибыль, здание облеплено огромными рекламами айфона и граба (местного сервиса доставки)

A dystopian picture in the best traditions of cyberpunk.

In the photo - Sathorn Unique Tower, a 49-story skyscraper, the construction of which began back in 1990. The Asian financial crisis of 1997 bankrupted the banks financing the project, and the almost completed concrete structure was left standing in the middle of the city.

Over the years, the skyscraper has begun to deteriorate, and is now only suitable for demolition, but the formal owner refuses to sell it for a pittance, and the demolition is complicated by the dense urban development around the building.

Therefore, for 30 years, the unfinished building has been standing in the middle of Bangkok. To generate at least some profit, the building is plastered with huge advertisements for iPhones and Grab (a local delivery service).
