Бомбезное место для вечерней прогулки - Yuyuan Old Street (но будьте готовы к куче народу!)

Сама улица конечно новодел, но построена вокруг исторического Yu Garden, датированного аж 16 веком. Все дома тут это чисто коммерческая история - китайцы любят превращать "историческую" застройку в магазины всякой всячины, от еды и сувениров до одежды и косметики.

A fantastic place for an evening stroll is Yuyuan Old Street (but be prepared for a lot of people!).

The street itself is relatively new, but it's built around the historic Yu Garden, which dates back to the 16th century. All the buildings here are primarily commercial; the Chinese love to turn "historic" areas into shops selling all sorts of things, from food and souvenirs to clothing and cosmetics.
